Welcome, Shadowguy. I'm not sure if Warkiller's decided to go undercover or not... I'll try to reach him by email and ask him, since he's likely given up on the forum, but every once in a while a Wraith operative will have to kill humans in zombie form in order to maintain their cover if they've infiltrated a zombie group. He had problems getting his activation email, which reminds me... if you're going to register on the forum, please turn off your spam filter temporarily so your activation email can come in.

I know this is going to seem out of context since the more angry posts were moved, but... EVERYBODY CALM THE kriff DOWN! Thank you. Now that that's taken care of, let's just say I'm going to get a lot more strict about posts having to be on topic in this board after the shitstorm that was almost kicked up by this latest misunderstanding. Also, Warkiller, if you ever again have an idea you don't want to share in the public area of the site, please click on my profile, copy/paste my email address, and email me about it. That way, we won't have to rely on context clues, and your communications will remain secure.

I'll try to work out some way for us to keep in touch via email until I can either get your account activated, or you register a new one (which you can do, if you can think of another name... you can later change your display name to Warkiller, I believe). I'm on Candybag's email address (pinata8@yahoo.com).

Hello, name's Raufgar. Just started UD, and just joined this group *moved to secure forum* I'm in Ketchelbank atm, getting a feel of this game. Would appreciate any advice and help, I ain't too proud to admit I'm clueless sometimes Hope there are still operatives where I am Edit: Just became the walking dead for spending too much time in the Zoo. Alone. Surrounded by Zeds. Currently torn between getting revived and continuing as a Zed for a bit. Edit 2: Got revived, yay.

You picked the right place... The Wraiths have a team helping in the Zoo area, we're in the southeast right now around the cluster of buildings that includes the Russell and Telfer NT Buildings, St. Eusebius General Hospital and Riddell Way Fire Station.
Of course, those buildings are all high-profile zombie targets, and it's not advisable to sleep in any of them.
You should work on getting Free Running for your next skill, so you can sleep in Extremely Heavily Barricaded buildings (which, of course, are safer as long as they don't have power). Free Running only costs you 75 XP, so you're not too far away from it (less than a zombie kill's worth of XP now, unless the zombie you're attacking is already wounded... I only got to hit my first zombie kill once before it died, so that happens sometimes).
Since you've just been revived, you'll need healing (when you're revived, you stand back up with only half of your original hit points, and lose those pretty fast if you're infected). We can probably take care of that... if not, make sure you're showing you're a member of The Wraiths on your profile (under the "Group" heading), we have street cred in the area and members of other groups will be more likely to heal you if they see you're one of us than if they think you're just some random newbie.
Welcome, thanks for joining, and good luck out there. I've got to log back in and find out where you are now.
EDIT: Okay, I found you, but the building you're in is under attack. I put the word out to The Malton Zookeepers, the largest group in the area, that you were in danger, so hopefully they'll be along to help you out. If you don't make it through the night, St. Pius's Church is the nearest revive point... it's an indoor RP, so step inside to get revived. The Zookeepers run it (although we help out there when we can), and usually you don't have to wait longer than an hour to get revived unless the area's under siege.

Lol, guess I should've checked in earlier, died again Thanks for the heads up, Garik, will work on free-running asap. Oh well, I'm heading to St. Pius, don't shoot me more than usual Edit: What happens if i decide to attack the zeds as a zed? Thwacking other survivors is no way for a growing Wraith to gain Exp, and they make me angry 2nd Edit: Okies, got revived. Think I'll stay down for a bit, harvest some AP, then stand up and go harvest some Zed heads with ma axe (killed my first Zed but used up all my ammo, damn).

That was good advice, War Killer... Lurching Gait and Ankle Grab are both very good zed skills for newbies to have, since they make standing up and finding a revive point after dying much less AP-intensive.
As for attacking other zeds when in zombie form... you get less XP for it, and if you don't have Vigour Mortis it'll take forever to get a kill that way, but it's effective in slowing down large hordes, especially if you specifically target (using your contacts list) zombies without Ankle Grab.
Congrats on your first kill. Hope you're still alive to celebrate it.
@war Killer: Sure I can set up an account for you. Just tell me what email address you want me to use... is it the one on your existing account, or do you have another one that might be better?
