Welcome, Nick. I hope your time in UD is full of fun and challenging situations. Please post your details here (just click on your name while in game, and copy paste the address in your address bar when you're in your details page, so that we can know who you are. Do be careful with posting your exact location here, you don't want undesirables knocking on your hideout while you're sleeping If you feel like proving yourself, try to make your way to Brooke Hills or Ketchelbank, these places need good people like you to help stem the zombie tide. Try to get the Free Running skill as soon as possible, it'll allow you to jump in and out of buildings without going outside. Any other questions, feel free to post them here

Hi, Nick. I'm surprised how many cops named Nick there are on the streets of Malton... there's a guy named Nick Magnum in The Malton Zookeepers, too.
Anyway, I'm the leader of The Wraiths... sorry I couldn't welcome you before, but I've had various real-life problems keeping me away. Raufgar was in charge while I was gone, so technically you did get welcomed by our leader, but still, it's not good to miss out on new members joining.
BTW, if you register on the forum you can see some of the other forums that are blocked to you as a guest, and find out a bit more about our operations. How have you been doing since you posted? Staying alive, I hope.

Sorry for not getting back to you. If you're still interested, please know that we'd love to have an actual Brain Rotter as an undercover operative. Just let us know if you see this.

Hi there. I stumbled onto your page on the Wiki and am extremely interested to be a part of your operations. I am also an avid Star Wars fan, but I don't want to give up my current(though admittedly low-level account) to get a canon name. I am new(ish) to the game and I want to be a part of something important. I currently dead and awaiting revive at a Cemetary(8,77) right near the Brotherhood of Steel Citadel.

Hey, I'd like to join. I'm not sure if anyone here's still active, but this group seemed good, so I figured I should try. www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1846145I have experience as a Death Cultist, as a DHPD officer, and as a PKer. I still play one PKer account operating out of Havercroft, so once I level this character up, I'd be great with going undercover and then killing human enemies should The Wraiths get in a war.

I'm terribly sorry for missing both of you. The members of the group who were registered on the forum all went on a hiatus from UD around the same time in October, so nobody was checking in here when you posted. I've sworn to never let it happen again.

Hello. I am seeking to join The Wraith, but i don't have the "uniform" and i'm only allmost halfway lv 1. So i thought that maybe I could get some help leveling up fast by You (so i can get the shopping skill, to help find the stuff for the unifom and maybe some other skills, that could help the squad/group) And after i get the uniform and get a coulpe of levels, so Im not useless, I could join The Wraith. Just wanna hear your opinion! And thank you, if You can help me. And btw here's a link to my character www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1863917

What suburb are you in? One of us can probably come by and find you... if you have an axe or knife you can whack and then heal a fellow Wraith for 6 XP a pop.
It looks like you've almost got enough XP to buy Shopping, so once that's taken care of find yourself a mall and you should be set. Drugstore will get you an FAK, and the other three items from the uniform that can be found in malls are in the tech store. Flak jackets are available in police stations (where you can also find radios, guns and ammo) and junkyards (where you can also find mobile phones, ammo, fuel and various melee weapons).
Also... what job did you want to wind up doing once you're leveled up? Once you've got the Shopping skill and filled out your inventory however you want it (the "uniform" should barely put you over 10% encumbrance, so you're going to have some room to work with depending on whether you want to carry a bunch of guns and ammo, a big load of FAKs or a couple of generators and fuel cans), you need to know which skill you're shooting for after that (for field ops you should go for a combat skill in either the firearms or melee skill tree, for medical ops you should go for Diagnosis ASAP but since you're military that's a hefty XP cost, if you wanted to be a mechanic Construction will be a priority earlier, etc. -- the first page in this thread should tell you what jobs are available, and which skills and items you'll want for each one).

Im almost done with the uniform. I only need the flak jacket, but im gonna grab it, when i get back to my safehouse (Gonna pm you that, so i don't end up with some zombies knocking on my door I have a knife and a fire axe, so the thing with the xp could be good. Also, Medical Ops is the job i wanna get. The rason why i took a military (even though it cost a lot of xp to get science skill) was because didn't want to start without the free runing skill. But i found out, that it was pretty stupid.... Another thing is.... Could you send a Medical Op to me, if you send one? Because it would be good if i have someone to learn me te basics of being a Medical Op. Hope to see you or someone you send soon!

That wasn't all that stupid, I kind of wish I'd started out with Free Running for my first character. Sure it would have taken him longer to level up, but he wouldn't have gotten his ass kicked quite so much in those early days before I knew how to avoid getting my ass kicked.
Medical Ops sounds good, we don't have one specific person fully dedicated to that in that area right now (pinata's really good at it due to practice with his other characters, but that particular character of pinata's is more of a misdirection/subversion/psychological warfare expert). If we can get pinata revived, we'll send him out to you. Otherwise, it'll be someone else.

I have a character in the area, and witnessed Luke recruiting you. You seem like you know what you're doing, but if you need help with anything just ask. Welcome to the group.

I'd like to join, and I might be helpful in an undercover role, but I'll go for anything where I can use both zed and survivor skill sets. I PM'd Garik with some details.
